The housewife and her spouse, a Pune-born software engineer, traveled to Delhi for a relative’s burial.

A lady was taken off a private airline aircraft to New Delhi on Saturday morning after she physically attacked two other passengers and a CISF constable during the boarding procedure, setting off a dramatic scene at Pune’s Lohegaon airport.

According to airport officials, the lady started off attacking a brother and sister who were occupying their designated seats. She bit and slapped constable Priyanka Reddy as the flight crew sought CISF help to deal with the commotion.

The Times of India said that, with the woman and her husband still on board and on their way to a funeral, the pilot then decided to abort the aircraft. CISF agents therefore put the pair in restraint and took them out of the plane.

Constables Sonika Pal and Priyanka Reddy were sent to the spot to control the situation and guarantee everyone’s safety. But in a fit of rage, the woman reacted violently, biting and hitting policeman Reddy. As things worsened, CISF officials had to restrain the woman and take her and her husband off the plane.
