The youngster was discovered unresponsive at the Vadem building site early on Friday morning, according to the police. She was taken to a neighboring hospital, where medics pronounced her dead at the scene.
Twenty suspects, all laborers employed at the building that is still under construction, have been hauled up for interrogation about the crime, according to a senior police officer.
Early in the morning, the young person was discovered unconscious at a construction site in the Vadem region. She was taken to a local hospital, where medical professionals pronounced her dead, Superintendent of Police (South) Sunita Sawant informed reporters.
According to the officer, the child victim’s post-mortem confirmed that she had been sexually assaulted before being strangled to death.
She had been strangled and subjected to sexual assault, according to the post-mortem report. According to the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), and the Goa Children’s Act, a rape and murder case has been filed, the SP stated.

She stated, “Vasco police have rounded up about 20 suspects, mostly laborers living in the area, for questioning,” and that more investigation into the matter is still ongoing.
The youngster was allegedly raped and killed by the laborers who were employed at the building site, according to the victim’s parents and relatives.
In an interview with the local press, the family of the slain girl stated that workers at the building site had sexually raped and then killed their daughter.
