The Ketamine Queen, Jasveen Sangha, is one of five people prosecuted for the drug overdose death of actor Matthew Perry last year.

One of the five people charged with the drug overdose death of actor Matthew Perry last year is Jasveen Sangha, often referred to as “the Ketamine Queen.”

Five people have been charged about Matthew Perry’s death, including two physicians and his assistant. The case, according to the prosecution, involves a “broad underground criminal network” that supplied the potent surgical anesthetic that ultimately caused the “Friends” star’s death.

Prosecutors described Jasveen Sangha as the “Ketamine Queen,” a drug dealer, and she was charged with Matthew Perry’s murder on Thursday. Authorities claim that some of Perry’s death was caused by the ketamine Sangha provided. During her court appearance, her lawyers disputed the term “Ketamine Queen” as sensationalist.

Sangha was first detained in March on suspicion of possessing ketamine with the intent to distribute it. He entered a not guilty plea and was not granted bail. Authorities at the time withheld Perry’s involvement from the public. A fresh indictment that was made public on Thursday shows a clear connection to Perry’s demise. Because of Sangha’s alleged destruction of evidence and allegations that she used drug money to support an opulent lifestyle, the judge made the decision to put her under custody.

who is Jasveen Sangha?

Court documents state that Sangha is suspected of using her North Hollywood home to provide drugs to her clients. Sangha is being charged with many offenses related to the incident, such as distribution of ketamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with a purpose to distribute ketamine, and keeping drug-related premises.

The accusation states that on October 24, 2023, Sangha provided ketamine, which caused Perry to overdose on the drug and die a few days later.

In the Thursday hearing, Sangha entered a not-guilty plea for her time. Her lawyer also criticized the “media-friendly” moniker “Ketamine Queen.”

Sangha knew full well that giving Perry such a large quantity of ketamine might have serious consequences. As per the claims, she is also suspected of being responsible for Cody McLaury’s death in 2019, which occurred after she supplied him with ketamine.
