In another hit-and-run in Maharashtra, a 36-year-old lady was killed by a speeding car in Nashik on Tuesday. The woman, Vaishali Shinde, was hurled in the air and thrown roughly 15-20 yards after being hit from behind by a white hatchback, according to disturbing CCTV footage of the incident.

Two males standing on the same side of the road can be seen running towards her following the horrible incident. She was rushed to the hospital but died from her injuries.

The motorist fled the scene of the accident, which occurred in the Gangapur neighborhoods at 5 p.m.  The cops have taken two people into custody.

The incident occurred three days after a speeding BMW slammed a couple on a two-wheeler in Mumbai’s Worli, killing a 45-year-old woman. The woman, known as Kaveri Nakhwa, was heading home with her husband, Pradip, after apparently purchasing fish to cook.

The driver was Mihir Shah, the son of politician Rajesh Shah, who is a member of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena group.

She was pulled for 1.5 kilometres after the crash until the BMW came to a stop. According to authorities, Shah then traded seats with his driver, took the woman’s body from under the car, and left it on the road. The automobile was driven away.

He has been detained, along with his father and the driver.

Earlier in May, a 17-year-old child was accused of being involved in the Pune Porsche automobile crash that killed two technicians.

According to the authorities, the youngster was driving under the influence of alcohol when he collided with a two-wheeler, killing two software engineers from Madhya Pradesh.
