Following a family argument, a 24-year-old lady in the Mundhwa region is claimed to have been strangled to death by her brother-in-law, according to police.

PUNE According to authorities, a family quarrel resulted in the 24-year-old lady in the Mundhwa region being strangled to death by her brother-in-law. around 3:30 pm on August 14, the event was reported in Saibaba Colony.

The deceased has been identified as Kavita Gadar, and the accused, Mallikarjun Gadar, 23, was taken into custody by the police. The police initially reported an accidental death report, but after reviewing the comprehensive postmortem report, they verified the murder angle. The deceased’s seven-year-old daughter told police about a fight between her mother and uncle a few hours before the murder, and they acted upon this vital information to apprehend the accused.

 The accused and the victim had previously engaged in repeated arguments over the former’s alcohol consumption habit, and they suspected Mallikarjun may have killed the woman for that reason.
