A baby girl has been welcomed as the third child of New Zealand celebrity Kane Williamson and his wife Sarah. A one-year-old son and a three-year-old daughter are the couple’s other two children.
“And then there was 3 ð\™ Welcome to the world beautiful Girl,” Williamson wrote as he shared an Instagram picture of himself and his daughter. I’m very happy you arrived safely and I’m looking forward to the exciting voyage.
Williamson’s paternity leave prevented him from playing in New Zealand’s most recent home T20I series against Australia, but he was excellent in the two most recent Test series against South Africa, helping the Black Caps win their first-ever Test series against the Proteas.
Williamson amassed his thirty-first, thirty-first, and thirty-second Test hundreds during the trip, ranking him eleventh all-time in Test hundreds and just one shy of tying England’s Alastair Cook for tenth position.
Martin Crowe, with 17 hundreds in 77 matches, held the record for the most centuries at that level by a New Zealander prior to Williamson’s remarkable career in Test cricket. By the end of his career, Williamson, who has played 98 Tests, may have played twice as many.
Williamson was included in the New Zealand squad for the two-match Test series between the two nations after missing the T20 series, which Australia won 3-0.
