One ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ candidate likened his unemployment to the burdensome nature of an unmarried lady. He was reprimanded by host Amitabh Bachchan, who said that women are never a burden.

During a recent episode of the renowned game show “Kaun Banega Crorepati,” hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, the emcee scolded a participant who had made an inappropriate comment regarding women. It all began when engineering graduate Krishna Selukar talked about his struggles and how the COVID-19 lockdown had cost him his job.

While discussing his condition, he drew a contrast between his joblessness and the situation of an unmarried woman, he remarked, “Agar mei kahu bina shadi ki ladki gharwalo par bojh hoti hai na sir, ek umar hone ke baad berozgar ladke utna hi bojh hote hai.

With a swift rebuke, the elder Bachchan declared that women are never a burden. “Batye aapko ek baat.” Bojh kabhi nai ban sakti ladki hai. Mahila, bahut badi shaan hoti hai.”

The popular quiz game show has been hosted by Bollywood Shahenshah since its first season in 2000, with the exception of its third chapter in 2007, which was hosted by celebrity Shah Rukh Khan.

fresh adjustments to the program

The megastar had written about some “interesting changes” in the program in his blog post before the start of the new season. Bachchan said in a thorough post that the show gives competitors the chance to express their tales in addition to giving them a chance to win a sizable monetary award. One new feature is “Dugnaastra,” which doubles a contestant’s winnings once they successfully answer the “super sawaal.” The surprise is that the candidate would have to respond without having any alternatives, as the station disclosed in a video posted on social media.

Season 16 of “KBC” debuted on August 12 and airs weekdays at 9 p.m. on Sony Entertainment Television. Meanwhile, Big B was last seen in the futuristic film “Kalki 2898 AD.” Since the film’s release in June, the film industry and fans have been raving about Big B’s performances, and the cast and crew of the picture have received nothing but praise. Narrated by Nag Ashwin, the post-apocalyptic drama is set in the year 2898 AD and is inspired by Hindu scriptures.
