The CEO and head of Landmark Group, Renuka Jagtiani, is the newest person on Forbes’ list of billionaires.

New Delhi: Renuka Jagtiani, the CEO of Landmark Group, is the newest member of India’s exclusive group of 25 billionaires, which includes successful businesspeople. Renuka is among the wealthiest businesswomen in India with a net worth of $4.8 billion.

Who is Renuka Jagtiani? 

At the global consumer giant Landmark Group, which has its headquarters in Dubai, Renuka Jagtiani serves as both CEO and chairman. Her husband Micky Jagtiani started the group in 1973.

Renuka is in charge of almost 50,000 employees in her role as the company’s CEO. Renuka has led the group’s business strategy and global expansion efforts for almost 20 years. 

Forbes claims that Jagtiani inherited her wealth from her late husband. When she first joined the business in 1993, she played a key role in the launch of Splash, a fast-fashion chain with more than 200 locations throughout 11 Middle Eastern and African nations. In 1999, she also played a significant role in the establishment of Indian enterprises, including lifestyle.

In 2007, she received the Asian Business Awards Middle East’s Outstanding Asian Business Woman of the Year honor. In January 2012, Renuka was honored as the Gulf Business Industry Awards’ Businesswoman of the Year. In 2016, she was honored with the Stars of Business Award’s Captain of the Industry Award. The entrepreneur attended the World Retail Congress in 2017 and was honored in the “Hall of Fame.” Jagtiani received his Mumbai University BA. Her three children, Aarti, Nisha, and Rahul, work at Landmark as group directors.
