Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has confirmed that the revised dates for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 will be announced shortly. During the media briefing, Pradhan said that the new exam will likely be out by either Monday or Tuesday.

This development has come in the wake of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) earlier on postponing the NEET PG exam on grounds of recent issues of integrity of competitive examinations in the country.

Following the delay, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) opened talks with the National Board of Examination (NBE) to address issues facing the NEET PG candidates. IMA Honorary Secretary General Dr. Anilkumar J Nayak spoke with NBE President Dr. Abhijat Sheth about the need to set new dates for the exam. Dr. Sheth ensured that a new and better schedule would be provided as soon as possible.
