Check out the excerpts from the 22-year-old’s chat below.

The reasons for Sini Shetty’s desire to become the 71st Miss World 2024

In 2022, Sini Sadanand Shetty won the title of Miss India World. Karnataka-born Sini, who was born in Mumbai, expressed her excitement to Zoom about becoming the host delegate in the tournament. The 22-year-old, who has spent the last two years getting ready for the pageant, disclosed that she wants to win Miss World mostly to “make them proud” of her parents. She said that when she made the decision to enter the world of beauty pageants, her parents gave her a lot of encouragement. “They have been my biggest support – my backbone.”

Ancestry of Sini Shetty’s royalty

Sini also discussed her father’s side of the family’s history as freedom fighters and her mother’s side as royalty. My mother’s side of the family is a royal family. Their father’s side of the family is descended from liberation warriors, and they are part of the Kananjaru Palace royal line. The ideals that I believe have been ingrained in me are to put the needs of the community before oneself. Furthermore, understanding what the homeland and independence mean to us is a prerequisite for being there for India. I believe that these ideals have combined to become who I am now,” she remarked.

In the meantime, Sini stated to the magazine that Priyanka Chopra serves as her inspiration. “India has produced such beautiful queens, and they have carried on such a beautiful legacy,” the speaker declared. Picking just one would not be sufficient, but if I have to, I will go with Priyanka Chopra. She and I seem to have a lot in common. She runs her own business. She is a person who has a multifaceted life. She speaks her mind without fear, and I really connect with that. I am a person who respects her own viewpoint, sticks to it, and isn’t scared to voice it to the world.”
