A flurry of films featuring social media users pulling off risky exploits has been inspired by the reel trend. In one such case, a recent video from Uttar Pradesh that showed two ladies recording themselves while driving carelessly went viral online.

A lady is seen operating a Mahindra Thar SUV in the opening scene of the viral video, with another woman occupying the front passenger seat. The two can be seen enjoying themselves while dancing to a song. One hand is raised off the driving wheel as the driver starts to dance. The vehicle was allegedly being driven on NH9, which runs from Delhi to Ghaziabad.

The message, which was posted on X, said, “She will end her own life and put others in danger! This is the cause of the mishap!…. These are images of National Highway NH 9, which connects Delhi with Ghaziabad.”The Uttar Pradesh Police quickly became interested in the footage. Ghaziabad Police was instructed by UP police to investigate.

Online users were also not fond of the video. A person wrote, “Because of such people, road accidents are increasing day by day.” Another stated, “Just because of them, the lives of others are in danger.”

“There are many drivers on the road: like this, talking over the phone, responding to WhatsApp and slowing down on extreme right lane, hopping lanes, obstructing two lanes, pressure honking,” a different user commented.

A spectacular pursuit between Ghaziabad Police and a white Hyundai i-20 on the Raj Nagar Extension Elevated Road was captured on camera earlier this year, and the footage quickly went viral. In the 47-second video, the automobile is seen traveling down a major route in reverse as police cruisers can be seen pursuing it.
