Meghan Markle, a former actress known for Suits, left acting after marrying Prince Harry in 2018. Following ‘Megxit’, rumors of her Hollywood return surfaced, alongside reports of the couple considering a move to Malibu from Montecito, drawn by its celebrity appeal and proximity to Los Angeles.
After playing Rachel Zane on Suits for seven seasons, Meghan Markle gained notoriety as an actress. She left acting in 2018 to marry into the British Royal Family, a move known as “Megxit.” Ever since Meghan stepped back from her royal duties, there have been rumors that she may return to Hollywood.
There have been rumors that Harry and Meghan are thinking about relocating to a separate Los Angeles residence. It has been claimed that they have been considering Malibu as a possible new site because of its scenic splendor and proximity to Los Angeles.
The pair presently resides in a lavish estate near Montecito, but it can take up to three hours to get to downtown Los Angeles. On the other side, a lot of celebrities, like Leonardo DiCaprio, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Cher, and Charlize Theron, love Malibu.
The interview with Meghan Markle
Vanity Fair’s 2022 interview with Meghan, however, painted a different picture. The interview took place not long after the Queen passed away.
“In 2018, shortly after the 100th episode, I departed from Suits.” I never would have thought that I would be back in the entertainment industry. However, streamers have altered everything; the society as a whole has shifted, Meghan was cited in The Mirror.
Meghan claims that in the 1990s, everyone would gather to watch a show at the same time. However, such is not the case in the modern world.
“That character, Rachel Zane, was in your living room with you when I was shooting Suits, and you were having Chinese takeout in your pajamas. That was the degree of connection she felt at the time, she claimed.
However, in the modern day, something else is needed to start a cultural moment or dialogue. In that sense, podcasting has been fascinating. It may be one of the last platforms where individuals may listen to each other without interruption. Where else would you be able to do that?” Meghan continued.
